@DrMateen36 Following a madhab is not disunity. We don't think of ourselves as sects. Whoever is fighting and saying IMAM ABU HANIFA IS TO BE FOLLOWED NOT IMAM SHAFI'I etc. etc. THAT is definitely wrong. These 4 imams did not ask anyone to follow them. We follow them because their understanding of what the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) and the Sahaba said and did is far better than our understanding. It is obvious. Their ability cannot be overlooked.

Change the word Islam for christianity, the words Imam shafi/scholars/etc by St. Paul/mark/matthew/luke/john/et­c and there you go. The same thing is told by the christians to their followers. Do not ever question what we teach you. It took many years of scholarship for the scholars to say that Jesus is God, dont argue, you have no knowledge. Anyways, may Allah guide us all to the truth and paradise. Inshallah
