@assyrio before about 300 years Assyrians didn't EVER call themselves Assyrians. They said Suraye because the Greek called us a name very close to that. Before 500 years it was the same with Chaldeans. After Rome called it's followers Chaldeans, Protestant churches renamed you Assyrians.
