Set in Valco, a fictional supermarket in the north-west of England, Trollied is an eight-part sitcom that puts a comic twist on one of our most familiar surroundings.

We went out on location to the amazing Valco set (which is about the size of your average Morrisons) and sat down with Jane Horrocks, Mark Addy, Jason Watkins, Chanel Cresswell, Nick Blood, Rita May, Lorraine Cheshire & Fay McKeever

I watched the first episode last night and I must say it was very funny in parts. It was refreshing to finally watch a good modern comedy, instead of constantly having to refer to older comedies like the Office, Bottom, Young Ones, Partridge etc.

I hope Trollied is a success.
