Now I know that Niqab is sunnah, but that does not mean you can be forced to wear it. I have nothing against sisters who wear niqab, but they are still my sisters and I love them. Scholars have been debating for centuries if it is fard, and there is no exact answer. one thing that is agreed upon is that a woman should dress modestly and carry herself like a lady. I don't like it when certain muslims say that you should wear niqab, that is not correct..Do it for ALLAH(SWT) not so people will think that you are more pious. A hijab nor a niqab can save you from the hell fire if you are a rude or evil woman.

  • @Umairah215

I don't think everyone gets the point of this video. If you want to wear it, wear it, but don't force anyone to wear it. End of story.

  • @salamsabee i get the point very well i was jus voicing my opinion from my end of the table, what ever ppl do is between them and Allah whether its wrong or right.

  • @salamsabee The face veil was first from Arab cultures. I know this first hand because I am both African and Asian, our culture does not have face covering AT ALL. African traditional clothing is light, almost see-through, sometimes covering hair, exposed arms, and with flashy colours. Also there are African people that don't even cover their breasts, Niqab is an Arab interpertation. ex. Somalia NEVER had the niqab, let along the khamir before the Al' Shabab and the same thing for Afghanistan.

  • How does "Allah choose it [Niqab] for you"?

  • It's sad that women who feel threatened by inapprorpiate behaviour from men ( I assume all men, not just muslim men) that they feel they should adjust their behaviour i,e. they have to hide away, rather than make the men adjust THEIR behaviour. Seems like saying, if you have money and you get robbed, you should make yourself poor so the robber is not tempted. Or if a child is molested, don't have children rather than punish the paedophile. It's back to front.

  • Those who harass believing men and believing women undeservedly, bear (on themselves) a calumny and a grievous sin. O Prophet! Enjoin your wives, your daughters, and the wives of true believers that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): That is most convenient, that they may be distinguished and not be harassed

  • assalamu alaiki wa rahmantuallahi wa barakaatu, i have wore niqab for yeas and years i truly love it, but i'm close to 60 yrs old now i am not at child bearing yrs anymore, it seems like i put my time in when i was younger, good sis at lease your not doing like alot of young sisters wearing niqab doing the day and clubing at night, may allah guide us all, stay stong sis ameen.

  • i agree 100% that it is sisters choice to wear it. If niqab would be compulsory, it would either say in quran or hadith that it is fardh or it would say that not wearing it is haram thus making it fardh, but there is nothing like that and actually quite opposite (case of prayer or hajj)! Conclusion: niqab is a human interpretation from the very begining until now, and with all respect to those who did or do wear it, it is only your choice and not a reason to force or judge others about it.salam

  • i wear niqab and socks. and yes u must wear socks. in surah ahzab allah says everything should be covered except eyes. so nqab is fardh

  • Masha Allah Uhkti for this video. May Allah reward you for your efforts. Surah Al-Ahzab 33:59 tells us how to cover Uhkti. I wear niqab to please Allah Subhana WaTa' Allah no one else.
