But just to let you know, I am Jewish...

It's an Australian idiosyncrasy to be self effacing and even abusive to one's own own ethnicity - whatever that maybe...

A bit like African Americans using the "N" word in reference to themselves and each other...

I have noticed that our North American cousins are unaccustomed to this cultural foible...
