  • Why is this stuff so expensive??? I mean 400 to 700 dollar, for a few bits of metal and plastic? I mean if there were electronics involved you could justify the price. But this is just insane...

  • this is stupid it cost more than the camara

  • i wouldn't even pay $100 for any of them, quite easily make my own

  • LANPARTE is best, no backlash, full metal, hightech precision and very good price !!!

  • Once something is intended for the pro video the price blows up into something outrageous.

  • @eggbertsmith This still doesn't justify the price...

  • Also, check out a FF unit from a few years ago made by a company called Willytec. Those are the finest FF units in the history of film making. Totally adjustable, modular, and will last forever. You rarely see them anymore. But I heard they are making them again. Ridiculously expensive. But worth it, if you are serious about your craft.

  • @MrJixies Whats funny is, they are cheaper now then they have ever been before. Four to seven hundred dollars is nothing. Not too long ago, four to seven thousand is what you'd have been paying.

Like anything else, you get what you pay for. The cheap Ebay FF units from India and China area joke. Play with one if you get a chance. They are flimsy, and have outlandish amounts of backlash, are not even remotely adjustable, and will definitely not last long.

  • I have the redrock micro. I could never need anything better.

  • 10$ for the guy that finds a product for DSLR film making that is even more over priced that this..

  • 4 Grand, it must be good.
