@oakmantex His grappling his far better suited for MMA than a guy like Roger Gracie or Marcelo Garcia , because Wrestling is a key element that almost no Jiu Jitsu praticioner has any real skill it , yet Jake blends his wrestling that's really a national champion division 1 level with his very sound Jiu Jitsu.

@mixmaster2669 Yes,i may have mixed up.Considering,Shields MMA grappling is a more complete than Roger,Maia,Jacaré,Palhares and Werdum.His takedowns and standing positions in MMA are better than the brazilians.But these guys are better than him in BJJ.I think BJJ and wrestling are completed,and in this regard Shields is a little above.Because i'm brazilian and sometimes don't separate the issue of nationality to make an analysis,u know.But you'r right.
