Controversial and powerful, this film shows the decisive impact of the Holocaust on the identity, ideology, memory and politics of Israel. The Seventh Million, based on the book of the same title by Tom Segev, uncovers a vast and complex story and reveals how the bitter events of past decades continue to shape the experiences not just of individuals but of a nation as well. Part I covers the reaction of Zionists in Palestina on the Holocaust during the second world war. Furthermore, the painful truth about the political decisions made about the refugees and survivors of the Holocaust is being adressed.

  • Jews hating halocaust victims, that is truly evil. The haters only give people more reasons to persecute jews, this makes no sense.
