Emirates started service from Rio de Janeiro (GIG) to Buenos Aires (EZE). Nice way to fly First Class (Suites) or Business for a much lower fare...

First class on A330 looks like Business on the B777-ER...

very educational link me more videos

Even though a lot of people may complain about the 2-3-2 layout in Business Class in these A330 along with the A340-300 for Emirates, it's pretty sufficient for the shorter routes or the secondary markets such as Athens or Dakar. Was the First Class section closed for reservations?

Looks like an awesome plane!

@rascottdotcom Yea i believe it is Sharjah. If not Sharjah, its Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi is about an hour away from DXB while sharjah is a few mins

Haha, I got isle seats 3 times when i was like 5-8yrs old, but then i said NO WAY, and now I request that they reserve me window seats during time of booking the ticket and it works! only that once I was on a 777 (last year) and the window was all the way infront and i had to lean forward to see outside
First was empty ???

@legoryan9 Yeah. basically on this Kolkata-Dubai sector they have two class config. however due scheduling issues, they were using an A330 with a 3 class config. so First was empty. They let me in there for a bit to get some footage for you guys!

Fabulous Trip Report! I have been dying to try Emirates, and I will in June. Any Heads up about the EK business product?
It was interesting as you noted that the range of a fully loaded is somewhere around 8340 nmi, as per airbus' website they state that the range is 7250. Wouldn't jet airways operate the JFK-india serveices nonstop then on the a330-200

@NICKARMAS thanks and glad you enjoyed this video. All the facts on my videos are from well reputed sites and I found that fact - 8340 nmi range - quite stunning to be honest. But, its a tribute to this awesome and sometimes under appreciated aircraft.

@NICKARMAS Also, do you remember the AF447 flight that crashed? It was an A330 and was on a 12 hour flight...just saying. These planes can fly ultra long distances.
