Bryce Harper hits his 6th Minor League home run for the Hagerstown Suns against the Rome Braves on 4/30/11. Bryce Went 1-3 with a strike out, fly out, home run and intentional walk.

Bryce Harper got his GED after his sophomore year in 2009, to become eligible for the 2010 amateur draft in order to begin his professional baseball career earlier. In his 2010 college season, at the age of 17, Bryce Harper enrolled at Southern Nevada of the Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC), a league that uses wood bats. In 66 games, Bryce Harper hit 31 home runs, 98 RBI, and batted .443. Bryce Harpers 31 home runs broke the school's record of 12. Bryce Harper was named the 2010 SWAC Player of the Year.

In the Western district Finals of the 2010 NJCAA World Series, Bryce Harper went 6-for-7 with 5 RBIs and hit for the cycle. The next day, in a doubleheader, he went 2-for-5 with a three-run double in the first game, and in the second game went 6-for-6 with 4 home runs, a triple, and a double.

I was there, I go to almost every home game, and I know the other fans. The reaction wasn't just another Bryce Harper homerun. He's a jerk, and nobody here likes him. They're cheering probably because they're on the visitors side and they root for Hagerstown. He denied so many autographs for little kids, and ignored his fans the whole time. One at-bat a group of people got a section to chant, "over rated.....over rated" when he was at bat. Everyone here knows his true colors.Don't believe press.

Your a dumb ass! He signed for at least a half hour before the game and after the game, when EVERYONE was gone! He was the only player siging down the thirdbase foul line! Guess what, you know what they're doing instead of signing autographs? Working their asses off. Hitting in the cage, working out, etc. How can you expect them to spend 30 min to an hour everyday signing autographs. Would you be able to have that kind of patience?
