Real pain in the ass bug with Mac OSx. Apple continuously deny that this is anything to do with them and that it must be the 3rd party software I am using. However as can be seen here the only applications I have open are Apple's. Please Apple, sort it out!

For an in-depth technical description of what's happening check out the article I wrote on the issue;

  • Windows doesnt freeze completely, the only time ive had a crash is applications stop working, and thats usually the fault of a sketchy site or program and when that happens windows pops up with aplication has stopped working, giving me the options to check for solution or close now. If you really mess up your pc there is always Ctrl+alt+del to manually force programs closed. On the other hand, when i used to own a mac it would freeze and all i could do was hard restarts. And it froze up often.

  • Mine sometimes freezes when listening to the BBC Radio using Real player.

  • Yep, have the same problem about once a week on average. Quite annoying.

  • Apple doesn't say Mac's are perfect. But they normally never freeze. I've never seen a Mac freeze before, at least when they do, they don't freeze completely like Windows. Which freezes and you can't do anything. I certainly wouldn't hang up my Mac for windows over that stupid little bug though.
