you guys really are a great help to all of us musicians... other than you are going to make us all even poorer than we are now - but we'll have excellent tone baby!
-
Guys, please stop making videos. You make me want to buy hundreds of pedals. I've already dropped $2500+. Knock it off. I'm serious.

@robinburrowsband just get a fuzz face, thats what he uses. the reissues have a couple of trim pots you can mess with to dial in the sound you want. or go for the jimi hendrix version, he's used those. although his main lead tone isnt a fuzz, its a B.K.butler tube driver into and cranked marshall.

I have the BC108 Si Fuzz Face, I love these old-school Silicon fuzzes, you really get that fizzing and popping like a chainsaw sound!

Quick question Andy: Every fuzz pedal I play, I hate the response, I meen I lovelovelove fuzz sound but I hate most of the closed off, and toneless type response (to me when I play I guess). I was wondering if I put a Fulltone OCD V.4 and a Proco Rat (I picked the Rat because it seems to have a slight fuzz character) together, if the two pedals would combine and make a fuzz sound. It may sound stupid, but I'm experimenting to find "the sound".

Hi, could anyone here give me some advice, I am after a fuzz pedal, I really am looking for that fat but smooth Eric Johnson fuzz tone. Does anyone own this pedal? does it at actually come close to the fuzz EJ's sound?
-
@ProGuitarShopDemos and yet, this pedal doesnt sound anything like eric johnsons violin tone or even his fuzz tone. sounds nice, but not like his tone at all. the only way ive been able to come close to his fuzz sound is with a fuzz face (which he uses) and mess with the trim-pots inside.

Beginning tone sounds kinda like Rusty Cage.

@jensenbell buuuuurrrnneed
"200lbs" actually refers to the famous Ventures song, "The 2000 Pound Bee" - Red Rhodes made the first known individual fuzz tone (in a box) for that recording. Very cool. I wonder who has that one?

@jensenbell - Actually the "200lbs" is a reference to Eric Johnson, who famously referred to his lead tone as sounding like a "200lb Violin".

what overdrive is used for the intro of all these videos? (0:00-0:06) cause that sounds really good

It's recording software. There is no amp or pedal, just software.
