Winged sprint cars on asphalt

THis was taken at the fall spectacular in Lake Geneva Wisconsin. This was the last year of racing at lake geneva, the track has been bulldozed to make way for condo's.

right now its seems that the best places to race in eastern wisconsin, is Manitowac, Plymouth, Oshkosh, and Beaver Dam (power-com)

So manitowac is where it is at?? I race(ed) at state park speedway in Wausau.. not sure if that track is now done. The former owner has til the end of the month to sell or the bank takes it back. Rumors are flying so who knows what will happen.

thats like hales corners is now a Menards! Hope fully C.C.R.A. (Chilton) is able to finance it next year cuase this year they couldnt and hopefully they wont go belly up!! but at Manitowac E.W.S.C. is actually growing wich is really good cause thats were i race!

nascar is boring . sprint cars on dirt are the real thing support your local track

Its happening all over America--short track racing is going to be a thing of the past. Michigan has lost over 70 tracks since the 60s, Nascar doesnt help with Sat nite racing either!

Sad thing, short track racing is slowly dieing off. Remembe rwhat it was like in the late 80's early 90's?? Interest just isnt what it used to be.

Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

The race track has since been sold and torn up for development of residential condos but, rumor is the developeer went belly up, we could always hope for the track to come back?? hehe. THanks for commenting.
