This is the first clip from the primary camera on my time-lapse rig. Footage shows three standard pole beans from germination through sprouting. The beans aren't quite tall enough for me to turn on the drive motor yet, but it won't be long now.
The majority of this clip was shot at one frame every five minutes, played back at 30 frames per second. The camera used is a Casio QV-8000SX, using the built-in time-lapse mode. There is some flicker and inconsistency, presumably due to the white balance accidentally being left on "auto". I have locked it down now, so hopefully the next batch will be a bit more stable in that regard. It's still a learning process.
