Very nice. Thank you for sharing. I see more in common with your movements than some of the other lines of MJER. Wonderful posture and control in your steps during o-chiburi. The I felt least fantastic about was ukenagashi. It wasn't anything in particular, it just didn't seem to have the same energy as I saw in the others.

Yeah, Ukenagashi used to be a bit flat. I've hopefully livened it up a bit since last year :)

One correction though... At kiri oroshi, you let kisaki too low. Not much, but noticable.

I did it! I won Gold again for Chubu, but for Ni-Dan this time. Now I'm training hard in preparation for Sunday and my first national competition!! 頑張ります！

Wow , Congratulation , man !! You did it !! So , I hope you will get another Gold Medal for the next Chubu in September and Zen Nippon Iaido Taikai in October. Yes. When I watch these videos I feel it was a long time ago. I hope I'm quicker and crisper in my movements now.

I actually did win, so I received the gold medal for Chubu. I'm prepping for the next Chubu competition in September now and then the Zen Nippon Iaido Taikai in October.

Yeah, I like the Toho set.

They're different to the root forms from each respective school but I really like performing them.
