A behind-the-scenes look at the making of the dragon celebrating #ChineseNewYear 2012 at The Palazzo Las Vegas. After more than a year of planning and designing, the 128-foot, 8,000-pound dragon has officially made its home in the resort's Waterfall & Atrium Gardens. We give you an exclusive, inside look at the minds and hands behind this magnificent and one-of-a-kind creation -- the brainchild of more than 100 artists, designers, sculptors and painters from across the globe. Visit http://bit.ly/VenetianCNY for more information on the Year of the Dragon festivities planned at The Venetian and The Palazzo including the ceremonial dragon dance at 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 23 and the feng shui décor and auspicious dishes offered throughout the month of February.
