  • I love the comments about Daniel, he really is such a lovely guy, have met in him a few times and each time he has been lovely and charming, and he is very cute! He's currently doing Company in Sheffield. It's a fantastic show with a fantastic cast.

  • One of the biggest criticisms of SUNDAY is that the character of George is cold and unlikeable.Daniel obliterated those opinions with the warmth he brought to his moving portrayal of George.

Tom Wopat sings this song in Sondheim On Sondheim now in previews on Broadway and it is a total disaster.Hopefully it is changed before the show officially opens.

  • I love a performer who fearlessly gives it all. He reminds me of the tenderness and vulnerability of Judy Garland. Thank you, Daniel.

  • Daniel Evans is a stunning singer, a fantastic actor and ridiculously nice guy to boot. I've met him a few times, and he's always lovely and really down to earth about the success SITPWG has had. I think his performance, and Jenna Russell's were beautiful and moving, both in London and Broadway.

  • I agree. Most people are for one or the other, but I enjoy both for different reasons. I love Daniel's mannerisms; they really go hand in hand with the character he is portraying. Mandy is wonderful too; his voice is so gentle, yet extremely powerful.

I love both, and always will.

  • Agreed. He is pretty much the cutest thing you could possibly imagine.

  • I'm not one to compare casts - and I think his portrayal of George is different from Mandy Patinkin's, and also brilliant. Both are just genius.

But I have to say, for me, I really like Daniel's - he seems more vulnerable than Mandy's. I really like that.

  • His vocal and dramatic abilities are obvious - but, it must be said - he looks so very adorable in that outfit also!
