Rather than an argument on how cool this is, angola or regional blah blah blah. Too many people who practice capoeira are tied into the hype of it to stop and realize such relevant issues as Nike promoting an art form that was developed in resistance to slavery. Yet Nike continues to make apparel in massive sweatshops where people who work in them are highly underpaid and are almost working in slave-like conditions.
