my healing place is a little bench on the cliffs at Luccombe on the isle of wight overlooking a peaceful sandown bay on a summer day with my soul mate glenda.no sound, only nature and the blue sea and sky and birds singing in the hedgerows.out to sea in the distance a lone passenger ferry heads off to france over the horizon.
Life can be good.

I am impressed that someone else can match visuals to this awesome and moving piece of music...nice to see someone is in tune with atmosphere. I love this track very much. I listen to 'Gone To Earth' every night before bed.

thank you soooo much for posting this song! its one of my fav trcks from the brilliant David Sylvian, though there are too many too count...his voice and general feel in his music always hits me in the heart like a fist of flowers, painful and yet so beautiful...

@JackOasys ti quoto in pieno.. anche io acquistai il mitico vinile doppio nel 1986 e da allora è uno dei miei 10 dischi preferiti di sempre.. un esperienza zen sonora.. un immersione totale nel suono dell'anima.
Se ti piace il genere guardati il canale di zooltv , non è Sylvian ma ti piacerà.

Gone to Earth è un album indimenticabile. Un disco che ha cambiato il mio modo di concepire la musica attraverso suoni, silenzi, spazi, atmosfere inquietanti e riflessive, ma al tempo stesso terapeutiche. Una sorta di viaggio spirituale in musica. La poesia fatta suono. Lo ascolto ininterrottamente dal 1986 ed è l'unico, il solo disco di cui non posso fare a meno. Splendido, fantastico, ineguagliato. Grazie per il tuo contributo video: se lo avessi fatto io avrei usato forse immagini simili.

Stupendo e inquietante... sensazioni che provo spesso... Immagini e musica si sposano e percorrono insieme un labirinto d'angoscia...Bello davvero Ciao
