  • Well done darling. You didn't give up. You did your research and ultimately fixed the problem. Most would have dumped the dog the pound where it would have been destined for certain euthanasia. You are what I would call "a responsible pack leader"

  • @SkydiveCathy Thanks heaps! Yep there was no way i would ever give up. My dogs are my World and if i caused the problem i was responsible for making them right. And yes as I do rescue myself i know all to well the minor reasons people surrender dogs.. Just before Christmas, i had a person surrender due to their family wanting another puppy. They couldn't look after there older dog or risk any confrontations. I guess the 'puppy cuteness' outweighs the loyalty of a life long companion. Take care

  • How very impressed ! you look young and yet so wise , i am so happy that you ve listen to your heart love and intuition ... god bless you !! the would need people like you , your story is inspirational. Hope my English is ok I am from paris !!!!

  • @rotaklif Thank you so much! I am just one person but i do love dogs! I have since learnt a lot more since this problem and have helped many in the same situation. Your English is perfect lol Thanks for watching or should i say Merci :)

  • Wow Kurt well done!! you are a fantastic responsible dog owner and I have great admiration for you. Its amazing what these so called dog behaviour experts say, people are so quick to choose the easiest way out and give up. I have a beautiful rescue dog who has come with some 'baggage' but I will persist with him because he deserves it. Like you I have followed Cesar Millan's way and its paying off like you would'nt believe. Your dogs are beautiful and they're so lucky to have you.

  • @LollyLouLa Thanks for the kind words :) And yes some rescues do come with 'baggage' but if they get people like yourself who are willing to give them a helping hand, they certainly will come out on top! Good luck with it all, let me know how it progresses!

  • @s4il Boxers are a great breed of dog! One of 'if not' my favorite! They just have something about them that separates them from all others :) And yes extremely loyal!!!!

Thanks for sharing your story about one of your boxers checking if everyone was asleep! Thats really nice and shows the Boxers true side as a loyal protector of his/her family!

    And thanks for watching! :)

  • Amazing story, i live in the states, and since i was little growing up the family owned nothing but boxers, no other breeds, b/c my mom and dad would not trust any others with 3 young kids, ive always heard they are one of the most Loyal dogs you can own.

Our latest dog, before he would go to bed, he would come up stairs, go into EVERY room make sure the person was in bed, go back down the stairs, and you would hear his body Hitting the Floor, he hated blankets/beds, always a Cold kitchen floor

  • I really enjoyed your video, you and your dogs well deserve your happy ending. You should congratulate your determination and strength of character! xxx
