Since I'm watching without having one in front of me, what is the purpose of this tool? What happens when you twist? Is that for raising and lowering the sight, or something else? Thanks!

@juliopenny Why do you give a damn if he safe-checked his rifle on the video or not? Just because he didn't do it on the video, doesn't mean he didn't do it. Besides, what do you have to lose if he didn't do a safety check? You were not present when the video was made, therefore you were not endangered if he didn't do a check. Get the stick out of your ass; you are not the youtube gun police.
