@Miji198 I guess you are an auntie like I am an uncle. Sorry for the expression. There will never be another one like Tang Pik Wan. Should have gone to Singapore (from KL) to watch her concert when she performed in Singapore in, I think, 1980.

She was an icon in the Cantonese entertainment world. Loved to watch every one of her movies in the late 50's and early 60's. Those days she played the female lead and was she beautiful! By the middle 70's, she switched to television and took on motherly roles, her most famous role being Mother in The Man In The Net. I am sure many of her fans (those uncles and aunties, me included) miss her.
