I'm running WIn8 on my Laptop and I'm loving it. People should try it out before judging, and by that I mean for more than 10 minutes. You just have to relearn some habits, like clicking on a startbutton, and you can accomplish the same things faster than in Win7 (mostly).

Totally agree with you. Just like with the bingiton commercials. Microsoft hasn't convinced me that bing is any better than google in any way. If anything, it might be as good as Google now since I figured that after 10 years they have probably caught up with Google search engine's algorithms, so there is no reason to switch. And we all know those people featured in the ads are all paid actors.
