Happ Competition Joystick review with X-Arcade Tankstick. Classic Game Room reviews the HAPP COMPETITION JOYSTICK and shows installation into a X-Arcade Tank Stick. The Happ Competition Joystick will fit into the X-Arcade Tankstick with a slight bit of modification. This Modded X-Arcade Tankstick now has a red Happ Competition Joystick for superior controls in fighting games like Street Fighter IV and space ship shooters like Thunder Force V and Gigawing. The X-Arcade Tankstick is a wonderful piece of design and engineering but has some weak links to cut costs. The joysticks in the X-arcade are lesser quality joysticks than the price tag would indicate, but with $15 and some elbow grease you can replace one joystick with a Happ. This CGR video review of the Happ Competition Joystick shows how to mod and install a Happ joystick in an X-Arcade Tank Stick and reviews the resulting modded joystick controller.

  • FUCKING MOBILE YOUTUBE!

  • The IL Eurostick fits right in, with no grinding....plus it's a better stick than the Happ.

  • U dont have to replace the whole joystick really. just replace the leaf switches with push buttons. works alot bettr

  • @TeamRocketReviews It's personal taste Mr. Buffoon, I happen to prefer seimitsu and the original namco stick.

  • That is one big ass joystick. Nice mod btw.

  • @Saturn2888 I managed to unscrew them eventually using some pliers, I have to say the happ competition isnt the best upgrade, feels sloppy and not much different to the xarcade joystick, as i've found out they dont make Happ joysticks like they used to and IL Eurosticks are the best alternatives, also the poor PCB on the xarcade does not help

  • @Atif48 Oh yeah, on some older models it's really hard because of the plastic shim on the inside. Use a small wrench and some pliers, and they'll come out eventually. I think getting them back in was also a pain.

  • It was because of this video I felt comfortable switching my joysticks out on my X-Arcade controllers. Surprisingly, I was able to get it in there without modification. That small amount of difference isn't enough to stop it from going in; it's just a little harder. I was even able to do this without a helper on both older and newer X-Arcade models.

  • Any gm from nes and up id better then trash on the 2600 go play E.T you old bitch

  • Fck atari2600 you old fag
