yes you can but not ares, there is about 8 differant 1's you can use i use transmission

also can you download windows based programs n this operating system ??

linux on ps3 will lag alot due to the poor ram and access to the cpu. if you dont want it to lag get a PC. you will have to download the linux version of something to install it

no, ps3 restricts GPU usage. meaning almost all 3d graphical games are not possible.
