Perchè stà arando così???

si tratta del sistema Vallerani per la riforestazione delle aree aride. Si basa sul principio che eseguendo delle buche l'acqua piovana viene trattenuta più a lungo, permettendo così una maggior crescita di erba e soprattutto delle piante che vengono seminate subito dopo l'aratura.

Le piante vengono seminate, piuttosto che piantate, per permettere che dapprima si sviluppino le radici.

Il periodo delle piogge è molto breve in questa regione (luglio-agosto).
