VICTORIA -- According to an Angus Reid Survey, Canadians swear more than our neighbours to the south -- or the British.
The online poll asked over 1000 Canadians and Americans -- and almost 2000 Britons about their swearing habits.
Canadians came out on top -- with 56% saying they frequently or occasionally swear when chatting with friends. 51% of British and 46% of Americans admit to openly swearing.
36% of Canadians also admit to swearing on the job -- while only half the number of Americans says they do.
70% of people polled in all three countries think it's inappropriate for politicians to swear -- but only half the people asked think mechanics should watch their mouths.
