He's right about pit etiquette. It used to be a brotherhood thing where you would look out for and help out your fellow metal-heads. If someone fell you'd pick them up. It was that attitude. If you copped a stray boot to the head or got a bloodied nose it was okay. There was no malice in it.

These days pits are full of ju-jitsu bozos who just want to kick and punch people. Thankfully, I've seen a few of those fuckheads get taken out up by punters who were fed up with their shit.

not to into pits to begin with, I'm more of the headbanger type, but i have seen a lot of pits and in small clubs their is good etiquette but in big band shows it is a lot less apparent and it seems like people genuinely want to hurt eachother and don't give a fuck to what happens to anyone else. thanks Phil for bringing that up!

i see so much of this fucking "fight-dancing" in pits now days and its just retarted. its only the young fucks or the douchbag tough guy wannabes.

just get in the fucking pit carry and catch divers and pick up the fallen.

most occasions where ive been hammered or knocked down you get the guy who did it giving you a hug afterwards (nohomo) and get back into it.

No question pit etiquette is out the window. Mosh pits were a brotherhood. Now its all pit ninjas and metalcore/deathcore morons. I miss a good old circle pit. Hell I even miss two stepping in hardcore pits.These days Ive never seen so many poorly thrown spin kicks in my life. Its a sad time for pits these days.

Anyone who wants to see the fun times with Pantera, watch 3 Vulgar Videos. Behind the Music is always about tragedy in the bands they cover. They said for the first half of the show how amazing Pantera was, it wasn't just focused on tragedy. But due to Phils selfishness and lack of communication, Vinnie and Dime had to move on. And that led to Dimes demise. I'm not saying Phils responsible for Dimes death but he is damn responsible for the end of Pantera. No denying facts, unless your Phil.

Man, for fuck sakes. Phil is so fucking spaced out, and I don't think he enjoys that BtM brought to light how Pantera really came to an end. Phil became a selfish pile of fucking shit due to his shitty addiction to Heroine. He wouldn't ask for help or take anyones advice cuz he's too "hard". I love Phil and Pantera, but he fucked 'em over pretty bad and just can't admit it. He'll fucking deny the mistakes he's made till he's 6 feet under.

I remember at a Lamb of God show i ran up to one of those gay kids that just spins around kicking the air so he doesn't get fucked up in the pit, and i caught his fuking foot and it scared the living shit out of him, but i'm not an asshole i just kinda gave him a look and got back to real moshing
