In the Uintah Basin, Ouray is pronounced O-ray. I love this video. I watch it a lot and send my friends to it.

I have lived in Ticaboo, Lyman, And Torrey. I have been to just about every one of the towns they mention. Utah is mmk.

Love this. Love this a lot. I worked for the Provo Local Census Office and the maps were a joy to read. Actually "Hurricane" is pronounced "Hurracun" in Utah. 2:54 --yes, " O U R A Y " is pronounced "Hour - ray" in Utah, and "You-Ray" in Colorado. I think You-Ray is the way that Chief Ouray himself pronounced it.

Juab is actually pronounced "Wob" but you said you'd get some wrong.

.....and Moab is pronounced mowb? I think not! I believe the residents of Jew-ab would take issue with your mis-pronunciation as well.
