November 2009 - Pirate Jenny from The Threepenny Opera by Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill. The story of a chambermaid who fantasizes about being a pirate queen and taking revenge on those who have treated her miserably.
Sorry about the voice! It seems every time she has to perform, Ariadna gets some sort of virus or infection lol! This time it was laryngitis! The song had to be brought down 4 tones!!
It is performed in Polish but you can find wonderful performances here on Youtube in the original German, English, French, Italian, and even Hebrew!

Przepraszamy za chrypke - tak sie sklada ze kiedykolwiek Ariadna ma cos zaspiewac to akurat przyczepia sie do niej jakis wirus lub infekcja lol! Tym razem bylo to zapalenie strun glosowych.
Piosenka jest wykonana w jezyku polskim, ale na Youtube istnieja wspaniale wersje niemieckie, angielskie, francuskie,wloskie i nawet hebrajska!

Merci beaucoup! Le style Weill-Brecht est plus "noir" que la plupart de chansons style Broadway. Malheureusement le jour d'enregistrement Ariadna souffrait d'un laryngite et j'ai du jouer la piece (sur le clavier) 2 tons plus bas que d'habitude!

I am so pleased to have a front row seat from where I can enjoy this absolutely superb performance. I wish it could have been much longer. Ariadna's intro is so sweet and her performance is a joy. I loved the song in Polish and the beauty of Ariadna's voice in this lower key! If she sounds this wonderful when she has laryngitis, what does she sound like when her voice is at 100%??? Ariadna has real *star* quality. I knew that already friom "The Coconut Man". THIS leaves no doubt about it!
