practicing for kettlebell strongman jerk - virtual cross-world event to be held in April 2010 (http://kettlebellblogger.com/easter-kettlebell-strongmanwoman-comp/). other lift is clean (one arm). 4 minute sets with one hand switch. here is my first try with the 32kg bell, managing about 1.5min each side. this was the third set of 4, and the least ugly technique. prior to this i just trained a few months normal jerk with 16kg (working up to 10min set), and had tried a couple of sessions of OAJ with the 24kg. i didn't find the 32 easy - as is no doubt evident from my technique - but it wasn't impossible either. roll on Easter .. hot cross buns, and improved form and numbers!
