This is great! Three years after I graduated. It's depressing to go there now. The entire South Campus bar district has been bulldozed and replaced by a shopping mall. All those mom-and-pop stores in this vid are gone, trampled by corporate chains. Used Kids Records is still there, though! And Bernies Bagels!

man I wanna go back to this time! people seemed happier, no one walking around with a cell phone attached to the side of their head that one lady was like "Take a picture of me!" nowadays they'd be like "get that f*&* camera out of my face!" definitely better times, the 80s...

Wow, amazing to see what is still there and what is no longer there. The Newport is still there, I used to go to concerts there in the late 80's, Char Bar is still around but it has moved to a different location to the Short North. Thanks for sharing, you should do footage of it now since they have torn half of it down and put all those new bars and bookstores, restaurants, etc. It is SO different now
