En 1962 Los Lettermen grabaron esta tierna y bella canción, que tiene muchas, muchas versiones. Esta es realmente bonita.

I go round moping, and I go around blue
I made you cry cause I had been untrue
And now I cry for you

CHORUS:

Won't you come back silly girl
come back to me
Come back silly girl can't you see
I'm in love
Your mother tells me that you're not at home
Each time I call you on the telephone
Oh I'm so lost and alone

CHORUS

Come back, my love
Come back, my love
Don't know how long I can go on this way
I think of you most every day
I only hope and pray

CHORUS

Come back silly girl can't you see I'm in love
Come back silly girl can't you see I'm in love
Come back silly girl can't you see I'm in love

  • Always loved this song! So many fun memories!

  • @DeputyDog644 So glad you found this music. I grew up with it in the 60's in high school. Still have that 'silly girl' on my mind after all of these years.

  • One of the best as I was growing up.

  • I heard this today for the first time in at least a whole generation. I stopped what I was doing and went right to Youtube to find it!! This is such a beautiful ballad--you just don't hear these memories anymore, do you? I was thrilled to hear it but, at the same time, I was sad that they're just not making true Rock 'N Roll greats like this anymore...THANK YOU FOR POSTING!!

  • This song is so amazing! I'm still young and I love this song!

  • Beautiful music when voices were distinctive , lyrics clear , melodies and harmony were prevalent ---- great memories

  • @urgdaddy It wasn't even my era of music. but it's great.

  • @musicbug2008 Good for you....simple, honest songs that are from the heart.

  • My parents got me into the oldies. Never liked them before but now i love these groups!!

  • '65.. dated Sally Sawyer from Tampa, Florida,...and went out to the Bay and listened to this song. We were students of Woodrow Wilson JH (hate that name). What a memory.
