Final Fantasy 20th Anniversary Edition (PSP) - Defeating Chaos

March 12, 2009 edit: Some people might have been wondering about why I had 4 ultima weapons. This explains the equipment glitch.

It's my party beating Chaos again but this time the fight lasts only 4 turns and the quality is a bit better.

Lv 82 Knight,
Lv 82 Ninja,
Lv 82 White Wizard,
Lv 82 Black Wizard

I used hermes' shoes (casts FAST/haste) on the first turn to double(?) the number of hits per attack (didn't bother to use giant's gloves or TMPR/temper/saber). I then simply attacked for the rest of the battle except for the white wizard using healaga once to replenish my HP since the ultima weapons' strength depends on the character's current HP.

@EpicBubbles1 You can actually get 4 ultima weapons in this game, possibly more due to an equipment glitch that SE hasn't fixed yet. I know some people that accidentally created items mid game just by simply equipping weapons or armor on their characters. I guess that could be interpreted as cheating which is a fair criticism but it wasn't like a cheat code was intentionally used. Nevertheless, 4 ultima weapons can be obtained in this game w/o hacking. Same as the Hero's + Master Shields.

@Shoran000 depends on what you've got

since you only have a knight if you boost his attack up enough then you can do about 2000+ damage each turn. have your white wizard cast protera, and heal every turn. have your red wizard use nul- spells and haste and temper on your knight. have your black wizard use flare and temper. and of course, remember to use items.

@DJViRuS916 heres a way to get weps chronodia drops:

first set your cursor to memory

get someone to equip a type of gloves (different type of gloves give you different weps)

then put the guy who you want to have the weps next to the guy who is gonna create it

go to the guy whos gonna create it and put your cursor on the gloves slot

then press R and x at the same time and then you will see a list with a wep in it. that means it worked!

experiment with different gloves to get different weps

@pumkinboy1 I just beat him at lvl 50, but I think it is very possible to beat him at lower levels with a good technique and a good party.
