I love inflight air to air! I had a Air Canada 77W beside our Air Canada A333 this summer, got a shot with the p&s but it kinda sucks...

what a wonderful sight
-
wow ....
-
@singapore7773 sure, maybe when one is just approaching the airport and the other is just departing, but never in the middle of the atlantic (as this video describes) at cruise
-
@krispykreme82603 its simple... two planes heading the opposite direction correct. one going east one going west. they could both head north for a short time together for a number of reasons. hence traveling side by side. then both could turn and be on their way.

@singapore7773 what?? i dont think were talking about the same thing
-
@krispykreme82603 not away. although stranger things have happened. but 90 degree turn is what im guessing. that happens quite regularly
-
@singapore7773 at cruising altitude an airliner wouldnt be heading AWAY from its destination
-
@krispykreme82603 Airliners dont fly straight from a to b, usually. Like i live in San Fran. ca area. i see HAWAIIAN air. fly over me everyday from Las Vegas to Honolulu which is not a straight line. i think they call it vector when they are not going straight. so those planes could of been going opposite directions right next to each other. unusual but possible
