I'm not sure what is more amazing. The amount of thought the MYST guys put into the puzzles of this game or the fact that you noticed them.

Crazy that you figured all that out. Nice work. I always just assumed it was magic and went about my day.

From what i saw when i played through this game that large device in the middle of the room is actually a VERY large transformer. Its magnetic field could also be used as one of the two magnetic poles, though considering its AC that might be difficult, more likely the 5 large stone pillars you stand on are the actual magnet housings. The large springs around the room were shock absorbers so the thing do sent tear itself apart when it lands. Also i dont see anything resembling a solenoid...lol

Some might find this storyline tripe, but I find it so creative. Thanks for this wonderful series SP!
did they bring the myst linking books over from myst island to jewnon whatever and burn them or was savy -e-dro taken to myst island?

@sparton1199 Myst Island was where Sirrus and Achenar lived. When Atrus set up the Lesson Age course, he provided linking books on J'nanin that led back to Myst, allowing the brothers to return whenever they wished.
So when Saavedro followed them to J'nanin, the brothers burned these books so that he could follow them no further. They probably got back to Myst themselves by holding the last book over the fire while linking through, causing the book to fall on the fire and burn as well.

@shadyparadox but the burnt books on the shelves on myst where linking books to right?

@sparton1199 Yes. Those books used to lead to other worlds that Atrus wrote. Narayan was the first world that Sirrus and Achenar wrecked, then they became more brutal and reckless as they spread their destruction to the other worlds.

do you update your old videos every week?

@fleetwoodsucks You mean like Part X of Y? Yeah. The series recently became long enough so that it takes me just over three minutes in total to update them.
