  • I had my second shot this morning. But this time, I let it set out for 30 minutes. The injection was less painful. But, my leg has been hurting more after the shot. Maybe I was just so happy to get the first one 'done' that I didn't think about the 'after pain'...:)

Otherwise, these were my 'free' shots that my doc gave me. Now, Blue Cross is saying no to Humira and only approving Enbrel and Remicade. Strange...don't want to do this every week...

    Anyone have thoughts/info on Remicade?

  • Thank you for sharing this at YouTube. I don't think you're a chicken at all.

  • It suppose to hurt durning and after , and your not suppose to move when the shot is in you.... It hurts no matter how long the shot has been sitting out...Only been taking it a year and it still hurts .. It the medican that is in it that helps you...

  • I've done mtx shots in my tummy, it's actually less painful. More fatty, well for some of us ahahaha. Is Humira working for you, I'm doing my first shot today for Rheumatoid Yikes

  • @TheHellSpawn000 Im taking Methotrexate,Humira, folic acid and Sulondac also. But Im happy with it because it does work for me.

  • I thought it was procedure to do your first shot at the Dr. office. So that they con monitor you for adverse reactions for the first 20 minutes. Just had my first shot 3 days ago. Hurts like a son of a bitch.

  • @EkAks your probably allergic to it

  • i took my shot right after i watched this lol

  • I've been on Humira for over a year now. It helps in some ways, thank God! But, I still have to go the bathroom many times a day. A few hours after I inject myself in my belly, a hive like, red itchy rash shows up & ends up as large as 5 inches in diameter. I also feel pretty beat for 3 days after my dose. Also, I feel soo flu like 90% of the time with this disease & drug. Anyone experience all this?

  • you're supposed to just push it (click) OW!!! seriously, i think they are gonna start my on this humira crap. ive got AS and i dont think im gonna like it too much, but ive heard its good stuff and anything is better than all this friggin PAIN!!
