Katamari Forever -- Black and White! (and a Cowbear epic fail)

In Katamari Forever, some levels begin in black and white, then objects around the katamari become in color when the katamari rolls up an object of the same kind. I think the idea is that you're restoring the King's memory, bringing color back to the world inside his mind. Few KF videos show this, since once you've finished a given stage in a given mode you generally don't get to play that stage in black and white again on the same save file.

Well, I started a new save file and recorded a bunch of stages :)

I cheated to include the very last stage in this video; I didn't play that far on my new file. I had a previous save file where I hadn't played that stage yet in Eternal mode, so I could still play it in B&W in Eternal. Heh, I'm not mentioning which stage to avoid spoilers :)

Trust me, the Cowbear stage isn't the only one where I failed in this video, lol ...

I like how you use different cousins. Most people would just use the same one over and over.

How could you not have done Eternal Wake up!? That's really the only mode I play it on.

There's a reason I didn't show the rest of the Money stage ... it didn't go well, lol. I am out of practice in a lot of these stages.

I have only grabbed the Cowbear successfully once by jumping at him. I tried it in order to do something different from my previous Cowbear videos. Of course I intended to catch him, lol ...

lol, very true :D Especially Fireflies.  It's hard to spot anything that's black and white except maybe the ground and some people.
