AU: I Thought You Loved Me... (Edmund/Lucy)

Look who's back, with an Ed/Lu AU. Shocking, huh? Actually, it feels like a long time since I've worked with a video solely dedicated to Ed/Lu...eight videos ago was the last one...and that was one about abuse...my last romantic Ed/Lu was fourteen ago, I think. Yikes! Well, it feels good to be back.

This video takes place in my AU (Alternate Universe) where Edmund and Lucy are not siblings; I did not think of them as such in editing, and they are not meant to be thought of as such during the video. Complain if you want, but it's probably just a misunderstanding.

The funny thing with this video was that when I sat down to work on it, I was just like, 'It's going to be long, it's going to have a story, and I will achieve epicness!' I had no story in mind at the beginning and just had to wing it. And when I went into a block with it, I skyped with Natalie (the marvelous natthenarnian for those of you who don't know—go and subscribe and friend her; you won't regret it, honest!) to get the rest of the plot, and I got it, and was super psyched...and then I lost motivation.

THUS, even though I didn't really add much since the preview I gave you, I dedicate this video to Natalie. XD For being an amazing, fantastical biffle; she's sexy and you know it.

I fell in love with this song the moment I heard it. It's so pretty (and NO, I don't watch the series which this song was featured ((I don't want it to tag, so I'm refraining from saying the title)).)

Story line is shaky, as I didn't have one to begin with, but here's what I came up with. Edmund Martin and Lucy Rosenthal are in love, but their relationship isn't perfect; they yell and fight just as much as they are affectionate. But, the crux of the matter is that they're in love completely and going to work it out....that all changes when they wind up in England.

Are they going back to England? Is it the first time there? I don't know! I really didn't think this through...but, to be honest...I LOVE IT! I haven't been this proud of a video since my Ed/Lu to E.T this summer, or maybe the Chloe/Alek to "Set Fire to the Rain," I like both of those equally and I can't remember what order I made them....but, I digress. I think this might be my favorite thing out of everything I've made so far...maybe, it could be the late hour...heh, early hour.

SO, it's currently about two in the morning. I NEVER stay up this late. Seriously.

Now, this might be my last video for a while. I think my computer might have a virus so I need to take it in, AND I'm considering upgrading to Pro 10 or Pro 11. So, sorry, but it might be a while...

High points...the "I thought you loved me," the part when Ed's creeping on her via spyglass, the "to be somebody else" (that was actually the inspiration for this video), the manip at the end including Ed's expressions, from "time and time I've wrestled my thoughts" to "with somebody else." ....wow, that's pretty much the whole video, ain't it?

awww darn the storyline went kaput! :( Oh well, hey, its still an excellent piece within itself!! :) I got to say my fav effect is at 0:03 just MARVELOUS!
