The main task on our Adventure Tourism Management degree is to design and undertake a 25 days expedition. We (Team Extreme) decided to go to Nepal and walk the original Everest Expedition route from Deurali to Phakding. This was about 80 miles in total and was done through a company called Basanta Adventure, which we all would recommend.
We also took part in community work, volunteering at Navajayoti school, just outside Kathmandu.
As a team, we have raised over £2000 for this school through Future for Nepal.
