  • Is it awake intubation? or is the patient anaesthetized? did u give local block for airways before the procedure?

  • Thank you for commenting, the patient is anesthetized,so no Local anesthetic was applied.

  • Perhaps the real advantage of Airtraq is that a Cormack 4 bacame Cormack 3 or 2 making more easy the intubation.

  • Thank you for the nice& absolutely right comment

  • Thanks for commenting

    Why you don't try?

I think that its not as easy as with the AirTraq

  • Do that lady knows about this ? her video is on the net??? .....Can you describe your aim here ...Do u want to learn other ?Or u want other to know that you are that hero wich can intubate ????IDIOT!!!

  • Did you see the flashing numbers on the monitor?? They didn't ..They didn't even look at it.....throughout the whole thing! I didn't even hear a pulse oximeter..

  • Forgot to mention that she had all her clothes on but her abdomen was uncovered..

  • She must not have been there for surgery. Nobody wearing masks in the OR. And the person digging around in the drawers with her dirty gloves on??? OMG I am glad I am not in that place. I agree with TheSuperwallen. What was the point of showing the patient's body. Just because the person has a large amount of adipose tissure on their abdomen does not make them difficult to intubate. Did you see how much her mouth opened?? With 3 people helping they still almost pulled out the tube.

  • Thanks for posting

  • it was really a difficult intubation especially when u have obese patient like that one. it was really pleasant to watch it go in seconds

  • The real problem is the difficult mask ventilation. If one can ventilate the patient then can work easily: if not, expecially in obeses, all became difficult. Airtraq (and the new Ambu Pentax) is a good solution in case of difficult laryngoscopy.

  • how many intubation with airtraq are needed to become skilled? :)
