Played by Alter in 57:32 and encoded and presented by SpeedRuns.net. This is a tool-assisted speedrun. Very classic game for the good ol' Gameboy. The second part of a still famous series played as fast as possible. Alter found some nice bugs which have shorten the completion of the game dramatically.

Probably my favorite metroid to date. Wish they'd remake this. I'd love to see the different metroid forms on a modern console.

Fucking love this game. What all the metroids should have been in my opinion. Now all the new 2'd sidescrollers take a day to beat, this game was so BIG, and compared to fusion/first mission, they are no where near the time it took you to find everything or even progress in the game because you had to look everywhere for the metroids in order to move on. (*Brilliant Idea*.) Best part about this game alone is the dungeon crawling.
