    This was from Countdown in Australia? Good for them. The UK show would be well advised to drop Susie Dent's "Origin of Words" section and have a music spot instead.

    Just heard this being performed at the Paralympics opening ceremony. Made me wonder how the onlooking athletes of the so-called less developed nations, who may not appreciate the nuances inherent in the lyrics of this song, are feeling right now . . .How is the signing lady going to get THAT across? . . .
