  • sounds like a metrobus

  • It would do, the gardner/voith combination is common to both Metros and Domy's. It is often said (by me) that the Dominator is the poor mans metrobus, without the refinements like air suspension!!!

  • That sounds really good! Love the noisy Voith whine!

  • thats a damn good engine!! starts right up and not missing. amazing!!!!!

  • The ones with high back seats usually worked the X78, sadly they`ve now been replaced with volvo B7 double deckers.

  • I remember the Rolls Royce Eagle engined dominators at sypte. They were "fastline" services and had coach seats and no back window downstairs. They were all on 1986 "D" plates. They were easily indentifiable as they had an extra window in the middle on each side that appeared to be from a fire door window. Not seen one for years now but sempt so quiet and powerful at the time. They usually ran the "x" services which I presume meant express.

  • Now that I would love to see & hear. Theres a video somewhere on Youtube of a SYPT RR engined dominator pulling away

  • Can you show the Rolls Royce Eagle Engined Version Dennis Dominator?

  • I LOVE VOITH! VOITH 4 LIFE!
