Sinn Féin TDs and activists, some dressed as volunteers of the 1916 Irish Citizen Army, outside the Dáil today (December15th) in opposition to the IMF-ECB so-called bailout. The activists carry a banner that paraphrases a slogan of the Irish Citizen Army of the time - We serve neither King nor Kaiser...

  • But what IS the better deal? I keep hearing SF TDs saying that, and I"m all ears, but they never actually say what it is. I would expect it involves raising the corporate tax, but I'd like to actually HEAR something along that line.

  • @PatchesRips You can download a copy of our Pre-Budget submission "There is a Better Way" at the Sinn Fein website. Search for "Morgan launches Sinn Féin pre-budget submission". Alternatively you could watch the entire speech our Finance spokesperson Pearse Doherty gave during the budget debate. The full speech can be accessed through the RTE website by searching "Budget 2011 Pearse Doherty"

  • we need another big march on a saturday....! please unions organise another one and we'll be there.

we are dealing with pyschopaths and pathocracy, people with no consicence. that is the key for us (the vast majority) who have a conscience, that they are not the same as us, nor think the same as us..

  • brilliant lads, keep it up, up the fenians and power to the Irish people not the banks!!!

  • @sinnfeinireland Thanks, I looked it up. I'm impressed. It looks to me like an awful lot of thought went into it. I don't claim to understand every aspect of it, but to me it looks like SF has earned a chance to form a government and try to right things.

  • buy sliver break the banks

  • Cancel the National Debt.

  • @rangerwingman Here there all the same no matter whos in govt, yes i am Irish i moved to Canada because Ireland is turning into a dump where people dont want to work and would rather draw the dole and believe in bullshit communist ideals. People over here work hard and live the dream. I see your a soldier and here you are agreeing with shinners who dont recognize the Army or the Police of the 26 ya tit..

  • @kawasakinuts you stupid cunt. so you would prefer us to shut up an keep getting screwed by these fuckers huh??? well i say fuck you,id rather be homeless then give these corrupt prick my money.

your not even from ireland so fuck the fuck up.

  • @rangerwingman Dont be ridiculous people not turn up to work are you mad, It people who work hard that pay the social welfare for these hippies protesting at the Dail and Mayo and wherever else they can cause grief. The reason very few people turn up is because their trying to work hard to provide for their families and just getting on with it.
