*Please view in 720 for best quality!* :)

Inspired by the ever so popular 'igvmyslf1000pts' "James Cagney makes weird noises" series...I, over the past few months, have gathered together as many movies off of TCM that Frank McHugh has appeared in. (because I'm an obsessed freak that ends up swooning over everybody. LOL.) Oddly enough, Jim & Frank were best of friends in real life, along with Pat O'Brien. Last year, I took interest and, I guess you could say.... 'fell in love' with Frank McHugh's work. He was known for playing sidekick to Jim among various others at Warner Brothers throughout his career. He is best recognized for his unique style of laughter, and that of playing a lovable drunk as comedic relief...you will see plenty drunken slurs, unbalanced walking and "Haaaah-Haa-Haahhh's" in this montage! :P Simply adorable. lol.

This video, by no means is as 'fun & fast paced' as 'igvmyslf1000pts' hilarious video series. :P Seeing her videos just inspired me to make something similar, for a lovable guy. :) This video features various clips of Mr. McHugh that always make me giggle. :D

Whether or not you know who Frank McHugh is, I'm hoping you will fall in love with this delightful & lovable character actor, just like I, along with my family have. :)

Ya just can't help but light up when you see him! Hollywood certainly doesn't have people like this anymore....

*You may need to adjust the volume here & there. I tried to 'even out' the audio to the best of my ability. Some clips may sound softer while others loud. Just a warning. Hope it's not too bad!*

UPDATE: There will be a part 2 around CHRISTMAS TIME! 'm working on it now, as in, accumulating more McHugh movies!!! :D That's the fun part! Whoohooo!!

  • I would love to see a montage where he is next to the big stars. Cagney, Wayne Elvis etc... do it for us?

  • @Kharkovkid :) I'm in the middle of making a part 2 now. The only thing i fear is that it's not going to be as 'good' or enjoyable as this one. If I go through making it, ('im already 7 minutes in) I don't want anyone to be bored or disappointed. I will try my best to get some good scenes for ya. :) I will only post it if I feel it's 'good enough'. Since I have so many McHugh films, It is tough to weed through and choose the 'best' moments, because we all laugh at different things. :D

  • Greetings: I am related to the man in some immediate fashion . My Dad was his cousin or he was an uncle or something. He used to tell me this when he came on an old afternoom movies in the 1960`s. Two things make me a beliver. he was born 61 miles from my Dad in rural Pennsylvania And my old man looks a lot like him Big nose, short and stocky!!

  • @Kharkovkid Wow! That's really neat if there's a relation there! -- I'm always thrilled to get comments like this!! :D As you may tell, I'm a big Frank McHugh fan...I obtained his autograph, and I even visited his grave in September!
