Elzhi may be the best word rhymer of all time and his punchlines and wordplay are about as good as u can get but he is not better than Nas. I think Nas just gets a little deeper.

@TheDHOLLA33 Yeah, I agree. Elzhi is the best rapper of the past 10 years, but the fact that this album isn't as good as illmatic isn't a knock against him--it's a testament to just how good Nas is.
That said, these lyrics are insane.

It's crazy to me how some of you don't realize how great this mixtape is. He took THE classic hip-hop album and used it to tell HIS story growing up in detriot. And made it lyrically on par with the original. From a production stand point he got will session to recreate the beats LIVE which updates and brings the album more to life to me. For those of you saying it's not ''orginal''. I don't have how much more you want for a remake. Elz did a great job. I'm sure nas is proud.
