  • i haven't played this osng yet, but we read it at my high school, so i have listened to it a thousand times, and it remains my favorite song ever for concert band.

    P.S. i kinda think the microphones are a bit...close? It makes it sound even more live especially in the la fiesta and doesnt seem to give a whole ensamble sound if the phones were placed above or outside more in the audience

  • Well done. There aren't very many instrumental performances of this magnificent work. The tuba player in me thinks there should be a lower note in the chord at the end, but this is a great performance nonetheless. Congratulations.
