Christmas... A time of joy A Time of happiness When familys come together to celebrate the Lords birth. When You think of others And maybe sometimes. Give happiness to someone who wouldnt normally get any To make there lifes happy when they thought that there was no more happiness to give. But most importantly. Christmas is a time to Fall in love, to find that one special person, That you can cherish for always. And never let go.

My newest bruises throbbed with pain on my back and neck, I closed my eyes against the world which was spinning uncontrollably, I didnt dare take another step, I could feel the curious stares of people in the crowded market place, The freezing cold wind blowing against my fragile body, And then, The air being knocked out of my lung as I hit the ground, I lay there in the dusty market place, people rushing around me, Nobody stopped, nobody helped, nobody cared, And why would they?
I was just a dirty beggar, who had to steal from other people just to stay alive.
I gritted my teeth as I felt somebodys foot land on one of the fresh bruises that covered my back. The pain surged through my body, pushing all of the air out of my lungs, I scrunched my face up, desperately trying to take a breath, as the air blew my long hair around me, but I couldnt, And everything went black.

It was a dream, I was sure of it. I could feel strong arms pull me up, out of the dusty road, and Pull me against a warm body, somebody was pressing there fingers onto my neck checking for a pulse, And then my body rocking back and forth gently as the man started to walk, Where was he taking me?
I tried to open my eyes, but they wouldnt budge. I couldnt move.
I could hear strange whispering in my ear, but I couldnt make out what it was saying, then once again, I fell into a lulling blackness.

I was standing in a dark street, I heard a cry of pain and started running towards it, pictures of my little brothers and sister running through my head, I was wishing with all my heart that nothing had happened to them, I kept on running towards the sound of the cry, But I couldnt see anybody, I tripped and lay on the cold floor, I couldnt move, I could hear somebody talking but I couldnt make out what they were saying.
I woke Up in a dark room, I couldnt make sence of anything, It took me a while to realize I was screaming, I tried to move but I was shaking to hard. Then warm arms pulling me into them, stroking my hair, whispering words of comfort into my ear.
I eventually calmed down and slumped back down into the strangers body, breathing heavily, The blackness overtaking me once again.

This carried on for weeks, Maybe even months, I had lost track of time. I couldnt make sence of anything, I was ill, very ill, Thats all I knew. The strangers warm presence was the only thing keeping me alive and I was grateful, but all I wanted was to go back to my siblings, to make sure they were okay.
So I slowly started to recover, Bit my bit I started to get my sences back, But As my body started to repair, I could feel something slipping away, And I didnt know what it was.
