I must admit,Wolf is AWSOME,and marth is overused.

Im trying to use Wolf,but hes really challenging,but all the time is worth when you can use one of nintendo's coolest characters!

Falco is cheaper than Wolf and Fox but Meta Knight beats them all. I main Meta Knight Falco and Wolf and love them all.

@gerbilbuddy starfox characters are not cheap at all look at the tier list if you want, none of them are very high but not using the tier list they still arent cheap. However in melee they were very good

Wolf is a low tier character (check the tier list, he's a D). He isn't cheap. This guy playing Wolf isn't that great, but even a great Wolf can't beat a great Meta Knight.

does anyone consider wolf cheap. my friends say the starfox characters are cheap and i dont know why. they are like my fav characters and i want to be able to play as them without my friends saying they are cheap or unfair

@DaddaOgg No, I played Starfox 64 many times when I was a kid. I enjoyed it, actually. Back then the names didn't bother me because creativity was not something I looked for-I just liked to blow things up with my lasers :3 But now that I'm in college I realize that it took Nintendo about half a second to come up with half of it's characters names...it is really disappointing to the point where it's just annoying. Also, I've seen plenty of adults play those games!

@Freakenstr Ok. I don't own the game or the console, and haven't even get to play Wolf yet, so I'm not gonna argue with you if the character is broken or isn't.

I recon you havn't played any previous Starfox games? More notably Starfox 64? Apart from Falco Lombardi, Fox' team consists of Slippy Toad and Peppy Hare. It's the style they chose. It's a kids game.

Not all the names are like that, but many more are: Katt (a cat), Pigma (a pig), and in later games: Panther.

@DaddaOgg I don't like the name Fox either. But seriously? He's a fox, so they named him Fox. It's pathetic. Then I saw Falco. He's a falcon, so what do they name him? They get rid of the last letter in what species he is, real creative. Then I saw Wolf, and that finished it. And man! The sounds Fox makes when he does his forward smash and that ones wolf does on his upsmash...they are disgusting. It sounds like he's barfing his guts up. And once more, Wolf is broken.

@Freakenstr In several of your posts you complain about his name. Why? His name IS Wolf O'Donnel. You can't just change the name of one of the most popular characters in a franchise.

Anyway: It's the same as with Fox McCloud. I just don't get what you have against it.

to all those who say wolf is cheap: wolf is not without disadvantages. 1. many of his standard attacks suffer from stale move negation if used too much. 2. his attacks also have poor shield stun effects, making him easy to shield grab. 3. his weight makes him vulnerable to chain throwing and juggling. 4. while his recovery moves are pretty good, he has one of the smallest ledge sweet spots in the game, making him suseptible to edge-hogging. quit whining and learn how to beat him
